Fresh juice is very beneficial, especially pineapple and pomegranate. This can be taken with split barley and mung bean soup.

When trying to lose weight Ayurveda recommends that you exercise moderately, and exercise at 80% of your capacity. What foods should I favour to gain weight?
If you have a predominantly Vata or Pitta constitution and want to gain some weight Ayurveda recommends that you favour sweet juicy fruits or soaked nuts in between meals.
For a tasty treat that does just this, take a ripe banana and make a slit in the middle. Drizzle melted Ghee in the slit and eat as is. Remember to chew well.
What drinks should I take to gain weight?
Drink this milk shake once or twice a day to gain weight:
Boil some milk. While still warm, add some chopped dates and a bit of clove.
Blend this mixture until the consistency is to your liking.
What massage should I take to help gain weight?
For gaining weight and toning your muscles, Ayurveda recommends the Abhyanga (full body oil massage) and we recommend using Maharishi Ayurveda Vata Massage Oil rather than Organic Sesame Oil. Exercise gently after your massage.
